How long before I can drive on a new concrete driveway?
Plan on staying off it with foot traffic for about 24 hours, and keep vehicles off for roughly 7 days. Concrete keeps gaining strength for weeks, so we'll give you exact timing based on the weather during your pour.
How do you handle drainage and slope?
Every slab is sloped to shed water away from your home and toward a drainage point — never toward the foundation. Proper grade keeps water from sitting on the surface, which is key with Florida's heavy rain.
How do you keep concrete from cracking?
All concrete moves, so we plan for it: a compacted base, rebar or mesh, and control joints cut at the right spacing. Those joints give the slab a clean place to crack out of sight instead of randomly across the surface.
